What
is mAh?
Milli-Amp-Hour. This is a common battery rating of battery.
A higher mAh rating implies longer standby/talk time.
The general compare list for cell capacity and stand by time/operation

What
do all these NiCd, NiMh and Lithium Ion mean?
NiCd is Nickel Cadmium, NiMh is Nickel Metal Hydride. They
are the 3 main kinds of batteries in the market these days.
Metal Cadmium is the most common type of battery cell, and
usually the cheapest. However, NiCd batteries have "memory
effect", which require them to be fully-discharged before
recharging. NiMh batteries, on the other hand, have negligible
"memory effect", and are more environmentally friendly.
They have shorter life cycles in general. However, lithium
ion batteries are gaining in popularity due to their slim
dimensions, high energy density, and reasonably long battery
life. These qualities have made them a favorite among cellular
phone owners. Lithium Ion battery cell has no "memory
effect".
What is memory effect?
If you keep charging a battery over and over when it still
has some power stored, the battery will eventually build a
"memory" and will not be able to completely drain
and charge 100%. If this keeps up over time, you may lose
over 50% of your battery's service life and capacity, within
the first year.
Condition/discharge battery by leaving on the phone until
it shuts off
Your phone, laptop or camcorder eventually shuts off because
the battery's output voltage has dropped too low to keep the
phone powered on. There is still about 3-7% of the total stored
energy left over inside the battery. It is this remaining
energy that must be drained out regularly, to keep your batteries
lasting longer, providing more using time. MORE ABOUT MEMORY
Car Plug In Charger/DC charger
Car plug in charger is what someone may refer to as cigarette
lighter charger or plug in charger. it plugs into your vehicle's
cigarette receptacle and the other end plugs into your phone,
laptop or camcorder providing power as it charges your battery.
Unfortunately most of the car chargers available in the States
do not have trickle charging built-in.
Typical
life of a NiMh /Lithium Ion battery
A typical OEM NiMh battery is good for approximately 500 charges.
Therefore almost all NiMh batteries do not carry a 18 month
warranty. Lithium Ion battery has smart memory for charges.
We warranty 18 months for any Lithium ion battery.
What
is CDMA, TDMA, GSM, AMPS system for cellular?
CDMA - Code Division Multiple
Access: A spread-spectrum approach to digital transmission.
With CDMA, each conversation is digitized and then tagged
with a code. The mobile phone is then introduced to decipher
only a particular code to choose the right conversation off
the air.
TDMA - Time Division Multiple
Access: A method of digital wireless communications transmission
allowing a large number of users to access a signal by allocating
unique time slots to each user within each channel.
GSM - Group Special Mobile
or Global Standard For Mobile: A time-division based standard
for the digital wireless transmissions. It is most prevalently
used in Europe and the Middle East.
N-AMPS - Narrow-Bandwidth
Advanced Mobile Phone Service: The N-AMPS technology is a
modified version of
AMPS - designed to use
a narrow bandwidth.
AMPS - Advanced Mobile
Phone Service: The AMPS standard has been the foundation for
the industry in the United States, although it has been slightly
modified in recent years.
